Robert Wayne Ritchie lives and works out of his 65 acre farm in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, in Stoney Creek Valley of East Tennessee. This is  where he was born and raised. Having a natural inclination toward creative processes, Wayne has  always had a special appreciation of the natural beauty of the out doors; streams, mountains and especially the Rivers of his East Tennessee residence. You will see this love in the images he paints of the world he grew up in.

Mr. Ritchie’s formal training came through his life experiences, which served to naturally develope his innate artistic abilities. Wayne started his basic training with a minor in fine arts. He continued with the study of drafting and engineered drawing; and, then lead into a life time career of Industrial Electrical Schematic machine ladder drawings, as well as circuit design.

The natural direction that Mr. Ritchie's training brought him too was a life in the construction industry, and in the creation of buildings and specialty home design such as mountain houses with natural stone and wood.

After an early retirement, Wayne  continued with a 3 year fine arts education  in oil painting. This was in the interest of classical and impressionistic types of paintings - along with a pursuit in digital photography and Adobe Photoshop.

At present time Wayne paints in his art studio. His wood working shop is adjacent to the studio. His most recent new designs are art easels and tableaus.
